What is bioacustic?

Bioacoustics is a cross-disciplinary science that combines biology and acoustics. It refers to the investigation of sound production, dispersion and reception in animals (including humans)

Animals rely upon their acoustic and vibrational senses and abilities to detect the presence of both predators and prey and to communicate with members of the same species. (Taylor & Francis 2012)

It is fascinating because it includes many aspects within the cosmic connection that exists within everything, it allows us to see beyond aspects such as the neuroscience of the species are included as the auditory frequencies generate different responses in the individual also involving that each being has totally different perceptual systems and the study of these teaches us about their communication and perception within their spaces and outside.

When walking in our forests listening to the different frequencies for many of us is exciting since this also explains the different adaptations of each being and its development, in birds you can hear different tones and frequencies in their songs as a result of coevolution (evolutionary adaptations in one species that stimulate evolutionary adaptations in other species)
